I recently had the pleasure to talk with you at the show at ArtSpring that you had with your mom. I loved hearing about how you paint with music and about the dreams within your paintings...also the mythology that is incorporated. I wish you every good thing...you are, obviously, talented...your mother's child. Blessings on you and on Kevin...may his brain survive the repetitions of your musical selections

Hi Kaya,
Boy, it's strange how you can not see someone for years and years and then stumble upon them on the internet! Brave New World, indeed!
Your art was great... I especially liked the 4 brothers, among others. Never realized you had such great visual talents (though I knew you were a good writer).
keep well,
-dana

hey there kaya
it was great to see you...see your talent and how it is flourishing with your tender care and consistency. It has inspired me to get it together and create an atmosphere in my own home to begin the painting process. The sky here is big and open, a wealth of things for me to try. Thanks for inspiring me to continue doing what we love to do...create!

Hi Kaya & Kevin
I am a neighbor of Fay and Gerry - walk all the time with Fay. Didn't browse all the paintings but sure liked what I did see. Now I know what Fay's grandkids look like.... Particularly like your Abstract Leaves & Vines or is it the other way around. All the best with your upcoming show.

You are getting better all the time! I can't believe how much you've done since the last time I checked. The new portraits are superb, and love the city/landscapes too. Wow, what great colors, mood, cool choice of subjects too! The ship in the night is my fave. Keep it up babe!!!!
xoxoxoxo Danny
PS: I was inspired by your use of music the other day. I have a fave. new band and I play the CD over and over when I paint these days (can't do the just one song thing but still (;
