Kaya's Art

Well it's spring, and I've finally gotten around to a little spring cleaning on this web site. I can't believe it's two and a half years old already!  You will notice there is no more blog (no time, I'd rather paint), and no more watercolour and pastels sections for now as I've been focusing on painting.  And I have been painting up a storm.  Most of my new work is in the “Landscapes and Abstracts” section, as I've been challenged to do more than just faces and in the process have just opened myself up and enjoyed the experience immensely.  With my “city” series I've been trying to put a face on the urban landscape of my dreams.  Here is one I am particularily pleased with, “City Two” 38 X 62 in. (loving working big).  Painted to “Slept So Long” by Jay Gordon of Orgy.
